1.) Personal computer with:

- Windows 10 or newer, Max OS X Leopard or newer, or Google Chrome Box

- 4GB RAM minimum

- Intel Core i5 or better

- Adobe Acrobat Reader

2.) Internet access

- Ping: Less than 30ms

- Upload: 5mBit

- Download: 20mB

3.) Web browser

- Proof must be used with the latest version of Google Chrome with cookies enabled

- Ad-blocking software is strongly discouraged

4.) 14-inch monitor

- At least one required, with a screen resolution of at least 1366 x 768 px

- Two monitors are strongly recommended to efficiently balance the platform and Proof resources

5.) Microphone and speakers

6.) Web cam

- A web camera with a minimum resolution of 780p is needed to provide notarization services that comply with applicable notary law

- Sound-reducing headset with microphone

- Mouse and keyboard

- Printer (if you want to print copies of electronic records)

Remote Notarization ID Requirements:

IDs NOT accepted:

- Due to constraints from our credential analysis vendor, Proof cannot accept inmate or prisoner IDs, or military IDs, including dependent military IDs.

- Photocopies of any ID

Acceptable secondary forms of ID:
